If you have any questions for AmaDon Hills that you don't find answered within these pages, then please write in to Mary Muellner or the AmaDon Hills webmaster. We thank you for taking the time to visit us here at AmaDon Hills Thoroughbred Foundation!
When AmaDon Hills Thoroughbred Foundation was first formed, I was trying to find something that would symbolize what AmaDon Hills was all about. Then I saw the painting "The Walk Home, After The Last" by artist, and former jockey, Tom Chapman. I knew it symbolized my feelings about racehorses and what I intend to accomplish. The painting represents to me a proud and athletic animal whose racing career is finished. The "home" that he is walking to, however, is not always there. For lack of an alternative, many of these marvelous animals end up at slaughterhouses. AmaDon Hills' goal is to be a channel between the racing industry and the showhorse industry; to take these horses from the track, rehabilitate, retrain and find them new homes and a new career. You can help –
Please make a donation to fund this cause. Money you send will be used to care for these animals during their transition period. Your donation is entirely tax deductible. You can also adopt or sponsor a Thoroughbred. These
horses
are in need new homes - they need new
owners who will bond with them and give
them a new career. Won’t you help
us to help them? Save them from a bitter
end and give them a new, happy, healthy life. |
